From the Times, on Julia Goldsworthy’s promotion: “Lib Dems’ spending is in hands of 27-year-old woman MP”
Her age may indeed be of note, but why on earth mention her gender? I doubt it is for the reason why I would mention the gender of a Lib Dem MP - because they have so few women in Parliament that coming across one is a surprise. Patronising sexist idiot sub.
…and lazy enough that (presumably) he is happy to give the impression that it’s possible to become fluent in Japanese after living in Japan for a year.
but she’s a 27yr old woman so she must be some kind of genius to be put in charge of the sums… *sigh* maybe she can leap tall buildings at a single bound and wear her knickers outside her tights too.
