Just wanted to say congratulations to my erstwhile opponent in Oxford West and Abingdon, Amanda Mclean, on being accepted onto the A-list of Tory candidates.

    Can anyone see the A-list working? I am all for positive action to get more women into Parliament, but the A-list seems to leave so little choice for local Conservative associations that a lot of fur is bound to fly.
