18 Lib Dem councillors sitting on the wall
… and if one Lib Dem councillor should accidentally fall, there’ll be 17 Lib Dem councillors sitting on the wall.

Welcome back to Cllr Sajj Malik, who’s just left the Lib Dem group on Oxford City Council to join the Labour group. Read what he had to say about it here, and defeated Liberal candidate Jock Coats’ take on the situation here. If the Liberals keep up this rate of defections, one a month, having already lost Paul Sergeant and now Sajj Malik, they’ll nearly be in single figures by the new year…

Be careful what you wish for, mate!
Matt
P.S. As I said to Dan - nice to see you lot are taking Hinksey Park for granted….:)
Oh, and P.P.S. - it’s 17 Lib Dem councillors now, not 18….
Now sorted. Thanks Matt!
Hiya,
Good bit on your blog in today’s Guardian!
Yes - well done on the Guardian coverage.
I hope Saj Malik works as hard for you as he did for us;-)
And I understand Oxford East Lib Dems are still celebrating the departure of Sargent!
well ,would it not be fairer for people who ” cross the floor” to resign and go to the ballot box again?
expensive but fairer
otherwise there is no such thing as party politics anyway.
“You can rat, but you can’t re-rat.”
a person can change their mind according to policy
I actually don’t thin party politics is working fairly at all. that is the problem from my point of view
this is because people are not rats.
sorry 10 follows 8
