Making the right decision
I’m working away from home this week with somewhat sporadic access to technology so I’ve not followed all the details, but allow me to say how proud I am of our MPs for standing up for a woman’s right to choose last night.

I'm a Labour councillor for Rose Hill and Iffley ward in Oxford. More information about me here.

What has killing babies got to do with womens rights?
I’m glad to see the voters in Crewe made the right choice too - by annihilating the nauseating Tamsin Dunwoody!
Re ‘right to choose’, this whole 20 weeks 24 weeks debate is a Red Herring.
It is FAR more important to make it as easy as possible for women to have early abortions (i.e. the pregnant women is the only person who is able to say whether she wants to have a baby, doctors aren’t bloody mind-readers, are they?), unless there’s very good reason to assume that it is a knee jerk response to an unexpected pregnancy, in which case the doctor ought to say “Here’s your options, come back in a few days if you’re still sure”.
That’s that fixed.
